Biography for Dr. Joshua Berka
Joshua Berka completed his medical education at National College of Naturopathic Medicine where he earned dual degrees in both Naturopathic Medicine and Classical Chinese Medicine. Dr. Berka's focus is primarily in family medicine, including advanced approaches for the care of acute and chronic disease as well as alternative and complementary cancer treatments. He also has a great passion for biophysics, including the application of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (pEMF) in research and clinical practice. Dr. Berka enjoys working with people of all ages whom suffer from a multitude of physical complaints as well as those interested in self-discovery and spiritual growth. His mission is to facilitate and guide the process of healing and discovery with every patient through the use of western medicine along with the ancient wisdom of Chinese and Naturopathic Medicine to create a unique and comprehensive approach to health. Dr. Berka also strongly believes in an integrated medical approach and works with other healthcare providers to create a team that comprehensively addresses the health care concerns of each patient. His goal is to enhance each persons level of energy, clarity and sense of peace, while treating the true cause of disease. Dr. Berka has spoken internationally educating both doctors and students in the fields of Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine. He currently owns and operates a private practice (Infinity Health Source) on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California.

Education
Dr. Berka received his bachelors degree from the University of North Dakota. He graduated in 2005 from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR where he received degrees in both Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine. Dr. Berka continually pursues knowledge in the healthcare field by both educating himself and teaching others. Dr. Berka attends various conferences on the latest medical advances and applies them to his clinical practice. He also speaks and lectures on Natural Medicine, Biophysics, clinical applications of Laser Therapy and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields to physicians and other healthcare providers throughout the United States."Doctor" is derived from Latin and means "teacher". Dr. Berka takes great pride in sharing knowledge and empowering his patients.
